Why Choose Residential Rehab?

However, while both can have their own benefits, we strongly believe that residential drug rehabilitation and/or residential alcohol rehabilitation is the best way to achieve long-term recovery from your affliction.

Residential rehabilitation clients experience a much higher rate of success in their recovery than their counterparts on outpatient programmes as this recent UK Government ‘White Paper’ shows.

Below, we will hopefully help answer any worries or questions that you may have about attending a residential facility, whether that be something as simple as “What is residential rehab” or something along the lines of, “What is a residential rehab program able to do for me?”

First of all though, let us have a look at some of the reasons why people choose inpatient treatment in the first place before we go on to analysing the unparalleled benefits of choosing residential rehab which ultimately lead to residential rehab’s higher success rate.

Why Some People Opt For Inpatient Treatment

For a lot of people, the process of attending rehab can seem very daunting, and this is only natural. And therefore, some people can decide to partake in outpatient treatment as a way to make sure that they can remain at home while trying to overcome their addiction.

However, what these people do not always realise is that their drug addiction and/or alcohol addiction can be accentuated by triggers, stressors, and negative influences that are present, albeit potentially unknowingly, in their home environment.

Therefore, by returning to their home at the end of each treatment session, some individuals can find themselves not fully committing to recovery and not maintaining the recovery mindset, unlike when you are focussing on your recovery 24/7 over a course of treatment such as when you are at a residential rehabilitation treatment program.

Avoid the social pressures of addiction with a residential rehabilitation scheme

When people decide to take the plunge to make rehab residential, such as at the residential recovery centres that Cassiobury Court offers, they are able to completely detach from their daily life and the rest of the world for a brief period of time and focus completely on their recovery.

The staff of addiction specialists on our residential rehabilitation programs are also able to offer clients here at Cassiobury Court a 24 hour ‘supervised detox’.

The process of detox can be very dangerous for an addict, and so it is strongly recommended that you pass through this period while under the supervision of medically trained specialists, something which residential rehab can offer but inpatient treatment cannot.

Since our clients ‘live in’ our centre for the duration of their treatment programme, clients are not exposed to the usual temptations and ‘triggers’ of addiction which would be the case under an outpatient programme.

Furthermore, we also craft our facilities with an atmosphere of wellness and positivity to help keep you recovery-orientated.

Offering residential detoxification

As mentioned previously, detoxification can be a severe experience, and so we want to make sure that everyone who trusts us with their recovery journey gets through this process in the best possible manner. Our client’s detoxification needs during their stay will be met by a team of experts which includes:

  • Consultant psychiatrists
  • A medical support team
  • Specialist care assistants

    Residential based therapy

Upon completion of the initial detoxification stage, our clients undergo an intense course of rehabilitation therapies. The 24-hour nature of our drug and alcohol rehabilitation programme means clients will be immersed in healthy mindsets which are essential for long term recovery. These therapies can include but are far from limited to:

    • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
    • One-To-One Therapy
    • Group Therapy
    • Stress Management Therapy
    • NAD+ Therapy

Our programme sees clients join a group who will support each other through the recovery journey. It is all but impossible to re-create these conditions in an outpatient setting.

While group therapy can be good for helping addicts when they have left our facility, it is crucial that you have the grounding of therapy that we offer at our facility as that is what helps you to address the underlying cause of your addiction.

And, by living and breathing your recovery in a residential treatment centre such as ours, you will massively increase your chances of making a significant breakthrough which will lead you to long-lasting successful recovery.

What happens when you leave our centre?

Upon leaving Cassiobury Court’s drug and alcohol rehabilitation centre our clients are placed into local support groups such as Alcoholic Anonymous or Narcotics Anonymous. Together with our broader complimentary one-year aftercare treatment plan, this ensures the risk of relapse is kept to a minimum.

Effective discharge planning is a key objective and a major component of our overall rehabilitation aims, as we know that the first 12 months after leaving rehab can be integral to the recovery process so we want to make sure they are as painless as we can make them.

Our team of expert rehabilitation professionals will ensure you leave our care with the necessary coping strategies needed for a long and lasting recovery.

Statistically speaking the longer you remain in our residential rehabilitation treatment centre the more likely you will be to avoid relapsing.

Cassiobury Court offers an extended programme for up to 90 days. Our standard programme runs for nine days.

Cassiobury Court offers a competitively priced rehabilitation programme. We structure the cost of rehabilitation so prospective clients are able to afford our services. The treatment, boarding and food expenses are all-inclusive.

Call Cassiobury Court today for your opportunity at securing a long and lasting recovery. You can contact our admissions team today on 01923 369 161 who will take you through the process of signing up for our rehabilitation programme.
