Drug and Alcohol Rehab Trowbridge

Latest government figures show that there were 5,448 deaths in England and Wales in 2023. This number has risen each year since 2012, showing that more than ever, people need help.

Many people are willing to get help, but do not receive it in time, or it is inadequate.

If you are looking for addiction treatment in Trowbridge, it’s important you know that professional help is available to help you achieve your recovery aims.

Specialist Rehab for Trowbridge & Wiltshire Residents

Like the rest of the country, there are rising addiction needs in Trowbridge and the wider Wiltshire area. According to local council figures, more than 20% of the Wiltshire population drink more than the maximum recommended amount, and 79% of drinkers are not engaged with the professional help that they need.

Whilst there are local recovery services available, the NHS is stretched, resulting in ineffective treatment and a longer wait for the help you need. To effectively deal with addiction, you need to act quickly and consider a drug or alcohol rehab in Trowbridge.

Or you may also want to look beyond Wiltshire for private treatment.

Cassiobury Court is a Watford-based residential rehab centre, providing industry-leading treatment to people all over the country. Our location makes us easily accessible for clients coming from Trowbridge and Bath, so we are a treatment provider you should seriously consider.

What We Treat

Since opening our doors, we have specialised in treating substance misuse. This is a large umbrella term, and means that we deal with a vast array of addictions, including:

  • Alcohol
  • Cocaine
  • Opioids
  • Ketamine
  • Prescription medications
  • Benzodiazepines
  • Cannabis

We are also experienced in dealing with behavioural addictions. These are addictions that are wholly psychological and revolve around behaviours that have disrupted your life. They include issues such as gambling and food addiction.

Dual Diagnosis Support

We understand that addiction doesn’t happen in a vacuum. There is usually more going on, and poor mental health is closely linked to addiction issues. If you have co-occurring mental health problems, such as depression, anxiety or PTSD, alongside addiction issues, then this is known as dual diagnosis.

At Cassiobury Court, we provide dual diagnosis treatment plans capable of dealing with all your issues simultaneously. Combining safe detox and therapeutic rehabilitation, this comprehensive approach will allow you to deal with the deeper issues behind your addiction. Doing this will increase your chances of improving your long-term recovery chances.

The Cassiobury Court Recovery Programme

Whilst a rehab or detox clinic in Trowbridge may be suitable for mild addictions. If you are going through something more severe. Cassiobury Court may be the place for you. This is because our recovery programme is intensive and effective, treating you both physically and psychologically to give you the best chance at achieving your long-term recovery goals.

Although every programme is different and tailored to the unique needs of the individual, a typical recovery programme at Cassiobury Court may include:

  • Comprehensive assessment: Upon arrival, you will go through a medical and recovery plan assessment. We do this to ensure you are not at risk during your programme and to finalise your prescription plan for the detox process. Your recovery plan assessment focuses on setting your goals for your time in rehab and finalising your treatment plan.
  • Medically assisted detox:  The first portion of rehab is the detoxification process. This will be medically assisted, meaning that if you are suffering from severe withdrawal symptoms, medication can be given to ease them. You will be under 24/7 medical care during this time, ensuring your safety and comfort.
  • Intensive therapy: Through a combination of individual, group and holistic sessions, you will come to better understand your addiction. Cognitive behavioural therapy, group therapy and mindfulness sessions will help you work on coping mechanisms, connecting with others and improving your overall mental wellbeing. This will help you build resilience, lessen isolation and build your confidence so you can succeed beyond our walls.
  • 1 year of free aftercare: Your journey with us doesn’t end when you leave. We offer relapse prevention and ongoing support to help you remain free of addiction.

Facilities & Therapeutic Environment

Our residential facility is more than a place to undergo treatment. We have created an environment centred on recovery, in a calming, welcoming setting.

What you can expect to find when you join us at Cassiobury Court includes:

  • 21 private bedrooms (10 are en-suite)
  • Communal lounges and relaxation areas
  • Private therapy rooms
  • Dining area
  • Secluded garden, courtyard and outdoor seating area

In this setting, we provide 24-hour CQC-approved care, meaning we, as an organisation, and our staff meet all quality and safeguarding standards. In this environment, you can focus on your treatment, take time to relax and reflect, and leave us ready for the rest of your life.

Aftercare for Wiltshire Clients

Your relationship with us at Cassiobury Court doesn’t end when you leave. The first year after rehab can be an overwhelming time for many newly sober people. You’ve operated and got sober in a bubble. Now, you are out in the world with all the responsibilities and temptations that may have led to your addiction initially.

We understand this, which is why we offer 12 months of free aftercare. This continued support will consist of a personalised aftercare plan and weekly group support meetings. You can also stay connected to the aftercare support team, and many get additional therapeutic support if needed.

With aftercare, you get a roadmap through sobriety, help in building a support network and the feeling of community that addiction may have robbed you of. Our group support meetings are especially important to all this and can be attended in-person or virtually.

Local Support

Even if you didn’t go to an inpatient rehab in Trowbridge, you can still make use of local resources. At Talk to Frank, you can search for all the local recovery services that can help you.

Attending group support meetings locally can be beneficial, as well as a wider range of online ones.

Frequently Asked Questions

Rehab admission processes tend to be as simple and stress-free as possible. At Cassiobury Court, you can be in our rehab centre within days of your initial enquiry. In urgent cases, you can be in a rehab within 24-48 hours of first contacting a facility.

Rehab can be completely confidential if you wish it to be. You and we at Cassiobury Court are under no obligation to betray your privacy unless we feel there is a risk to yourself or someone else. However, we believe in being open and removing the stigma of addiction. We can help you tell people that you’re in rehab if that’s what you want.

You can take your phone into rehab with you. We ask that you keep it in your room during therapy and treatment sessions. We also discourage people being on their phones all the time and in communal areas, as being social and connecting with other patients is an important part of the rehab experience.

At Cassiobury Court, our visiting hours occur on a Sunday afternoon. You have to organise your visitation with our team beforehand and in some cases, visits can take place outside of the permitted hours.

We offer a relapse prevention plan and aftercare support to ensure you get the help you need when you leave. If it is a slip, then you can go to a support meeting and get further help. If you want to return to rehab, we can go through the admissions process again to get you admitted back into Cassiobury Court if there is space.

Our Treatment Centres

We have local CQC-approved rehab treatment centres around the United Kingdom where you will find our friendly team of doctors, nurses, and support staff. Our team aim to provide the best care possible for every client we treat. We focus on safety and support to help people achieve long-term recovery in a warm, caring and tranquil environment.
