Cassiobury Court is a CQC-registered private drug and alcohol rehab facility which is NHS-approved. Our centre works with the NHS to provide emergency care for people struggling with drug and alcohol addictions as well as mental health conditions.

Our 21-bed private rehab facility holds 3 rooms for urgent care pathways which allows people who require an emergency detox in A&E to receive top-quality care and treatment at our rehab centre.

Through this referral system with CGL, Cassiobury Court can provide an accessible location for urgent medical drug and alcohol detox within a community setting. This helps people with alcohol issues and any underlying mental illness such as anxiety, depression, or some form of trauma to receive top-quality care.

NHS Referrals to Cassiobury Court

Our inpatient rehab centre works in partnership with West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals’ A&E and Gastroenterology Team to identify and support people to transfer safely to the appropriate care at our facility.

The partnership was started after a gap in care was spotted for people who attended A&E with an urgent case of addiction and were admitted for medical detoxification to a ward-based service.

The transfer of patients to our private drug and alcohol rehab centre enables people in hospital settings to access top-quality care in a rehabilitation facility which can meet their detox and therapy needs. It also relieves pressure on hospital facilities and provides patients with expert care in a comfortable setting.

3 beds are available within our facility for emergency cases from hospital, which means that there is always space available for those in need of urgent drug or alcohol addiction treatment.

Working with the NHS and Change Grow Live

At Cassiobury Court, we aim to improve the recovery outcomes for people who have alcohol dependency that require medical detoxification and therapy for mental health and complex social care issues.

Working with the NHS enables our treatment centre to reduce the demand for acute hospital inpatient services and provide care in a more suitable space for people struggling with drug and alcohol addictions.

Change Grow Live, CGL, is a free addiction service which aids the process of urgent rehab care from hospital. The organisation assigns an in-reach and outreach specialist nurse to provide care and support during and after rehab treatment.

Once the immediate detox and rehab treatment has ended, the outreach CGL nurse can continue rehabilitation care in the community following discharge from our rehab centre.

Help with the Cost of Rehab

The cost of private rehab can hold some people back from seeking treatment, however there are multiple avenues that can be considered before you make the decision to start residential treatment.

A number of private medical insurance companies cover rehab costs, and it can be claimed back once treatment has ended. This is a great avenue to choose as residential rehab provides the best addiction treatment available and claiming through insurance means that you don’t need to worry about the cost.

If you have any questions about the cost of rehab or how you can claim back on your insurance, call a member of our team today on 0800 001 4070.
