Who We Are

Cassiobury Court is a private residential drug and alcohol rehab located in Richmond Drive, Watford, just 20 minutes from central London. We are part of Step 1 Recovery Group, whose mission is to create the best possible healing environments and staffed by expert professionals in every field of addiction and recovery.

Since we opened in 2011, we have supported more than 3,000 people through structured, evidence-based treatment programmes. Our clients include individuals, their families, and people referred by employers, GPs, and other healthcare providers. Whether you are looking for help for the first time or have struggled through previous attempts at recovery, our approach is the same. Personalised, compassionate, and focused entirely on change that will last.

Our 22 bed facility offers a calm, confidential residential environment where individuals can focus fully on recovery. We are able to accept self referrals, family referrals and employer referrals, and our admissions team is available 7 days a week.

Our team includes experienced counsellors, psychologists, and medical professionals specialising in addiction treatment and mental health. We are passionate about helping people overcome addiction and achieve their goals for a healthier and happier life.

We hold the highest professional standards here at our CQC-registered rehab centre. Our fully trained GPs, Physchiatristes, Support Workers, Counsellors and Mental Health Nurses can deliver a comprehensive rehabilitation programme.

I have just finished up my treatment at Cassiobury Court which is my 2nd in two years. Initially I had gone for only 2 weeks but did 21 days (28 days is still recommended). The staff was absolutely incredibly; knowledgable, supportive, organised and REAL. Addiction is a serious disease and if you are serious about recovery and want to live a strong, healthier, more spiritual and joyful life - you should admit you are powerlessness and get the support from Cassiobury Court. The programs are incredibly valuable in group settings to hear other like experiences with the addition of private `Step (1-3) work and therapy sessions with professionals. I have recently completed a 28 day stay at Cassiobury Court (CC) Rehabilitation Facility. I walked up to the gates of CC in total despair. I was a broken man. A man with no purpose in life. I had been drinking for 31 years. I had lost everything – family, friends, job, houses, cars and I hated myself with a passion! I couldn’t even look at myself in the mirror. All because of the dreaded disease called ALCOHOL! I wasn’t living, just merely existing! I came to realise that I was unable to beat my addiction on my own. I had no choice but to surrender and ask for help. I hadn’t asked anyone for help in all my life – my ego and pride when drinking was just too big! I needed help from CC and the staff certainly delivered on all levels. My stay at CC was very enlightening – a phenomenal experience! The best decision I have ever made in my life! A very humbling experience. The staff at CC are all very loving, caring and willing to help their clients to succeed. It’s like they do what they do because they genuinely want to support you and save your life from addiction. They all treat you with the utmost respect and all are willing to meet your specific needs. Nothing is too much trouble for them. I cannot praise the staff at CC enough for all the love, care support and help they give to every client; Management, Therapists, Key Workers, Kitchen Staff, Housekeeping and Maintenance. The staff all treat you as an equal and I now regard them all as family – “My CC family!”. The group sessions are taken by Therapists and Key Workers who all conduct themselves in a very professional manner. The daily schedule is very structured. The staff who run these sessions all have great expertise and experience to help you on your journey to recovery. I have certainly left CC with the tools I need to sustain many happy and sober years ahead of me. I am eternally grateful to them for giving me this opportunity! The setting of CC is one of tranquility. It is in very peaceful surroundings. The is a lovely courtyard/gardens available for clients and staff to use at their leisure. The rooms and communal areas are all well maintained. The food is outstanding and fully trained staff are available for all you medical, dietry and general requirements. My overall experience of CC is sensational! I highly recommend that if you are suffering from addiction and want the best opportunity to rebuild your life and future, then your journey to recovery should start at CC. My love and best wishes to all at CC.

Cassiobury court and all the members of staff not only saved my life, they changed my life, before I attended cassiobury court my life was an existence, today I live. I have many treatment centers near me, however I didn't want convenience, I wanted to get well, I travelled across the country to attend cassiobury court, and it was the best thing I've ever done. When I came in to Cassiobury I was all over the place my life was in chaos caused by me. I didn’t know what to expect when I arrived, I had been in another rehab before. I didn’t have a good experience there unfortunately. At Cassiobury I made the effort to be around everyone and learn, taking part in everything which is the only way to learn. The thing I really love about Cassiobury are staff who are in recovery themselves which is amazing - they point you in the right direction from their own experiences which has made all the difference to me. It’s been massive for me. You know when you are talking to staff they have done it themselves. Every single staff have been brilliant, they have different approaches and which has been the best therapy for me as they understand what I’ve been going through. I felt safe at Cassiobury which gave me a sense of relief and helped me to relax, release my anxieties and fears focusing on what I needed to do - from feeling broken I feel repaired. I cannot fully express what this is done for me. I can’t fault this place from the top to the cleaners. I leave Cassiobury with more understanding about addiction than I’ve ever had. I’ve got the tools I need which gives me the courage to remain sober. My loved one found this place and I’m so grateful that she did! She made a huge effort for me. You will get everything you need if you want it - don’t waste the opportunity. For me Cassiobury court will work for you but you need to work for yourself while you’re there - you won’t regret it.

Wow what can I say the staff and group of people I was wrapped around in my recovery in cassiobury were amazing if you are looking for somewhere for your daughter or wife or relatives please contact cassiobury court I can not recommend this place more I did 38 days within cassiobury court and I feel so blessed to of been here. From the therapists psychologist Key workers management, cleaners, maintenance Cooks , just all of them they all have a big part to play, and I could not recommend Casselberry Court enough. I’ve never felt so comfortable and so loved within my whole stay. There was not one moment I did not feel safe within the campus to be fair. I didn’t want to leave if I could’ve stayed there a few months I would have. From the bottom of my heart, Cassiobury, thank you I will be back to share it’s not a goodbye it’s a see you soon ♥️🙏❤️‍🩹

I have had serious addiction problems for the last 10 years that have ruined my life and the life of my loved ones. I am in my early 30’s and this was my third time in rehab but my first time staying at Cassiobury Court. The difference between Cassiobury and other facilities is incredible and you can’t compare with the level of support and love. The staff are kind, caring and know exactly what you are going through and what you need to do in order to get better. They have multiple different ways and techniques to support you and go above and beyond in every possible way to help you. Not only do they support you while you’re there but they also support you for the first year you leave with weekly catch up sessions. I have left Cassiobury with a huge network of people in recovery. Before I was lost and alone. I can’t thank Cassiobury enough for giving me another chance at life and I’ll be forever truly grateful ❤️❤️❤️

I benefitted greatly at cassiobury court. I came in willing to work hard and overcome my mental blockages which kept me relapsing. The one to one's with the therapist and going through the steps really humbled me. I know now how my head works and will never take my sobriety for granted ever again. I have a structure back in my life I.e food, sleep, exercise and have the tools I need to push on and lead a good and spiritual life. Thank you to all the Cassiobury team. A really great place to get back on your feet and begin recovery. Staff could not be more helpful, therapy and groups are generally excellent. Rooms are very clean and well appointed, though size and ensuite is a bit of a lottery. Food is really very good, everyones tastes are catered for and in abundance. Snacks water juices, tea's and coffee's available 247. I would highly recommend Cassio to anyone looking to get sober change there life.
