Mental Health Support

Here at Cassiobury Court, we offer a comprehensive array of treatment services for people from all walks of life who are experiencing mental health problems.

With a 28-day commitment to our comfortable and safe residential rehab clinic, we can spend this time administering a variety of therapies that aim to diagnose and treat the underlying causes of mental health issues. Examples of these “talking therapies” are psychotherapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). We also encourage a more holistic approach, such as regular exercise classes and yoga.

When you arrive at our rehabilitation centre for mental health, you will be given a thorough examination by one of Cassiobury Court’s doctors, who will focus on your mental health but will also consider your physical health too.

This assessment should determine your individual needs and allows us to create a unique rehab programme for your mental health. We treat every one of our clients as an individual and your rehab programme will be completely individualised with long-term recovery in mind.

Mental health disorders

According to the World Health Organisation (WHO), twelve percent of men and twenty percent of women around the world are suffering from some form of mental health disorder. These mental health problems vary in severity from mild anxiety to more serious problems such as agoraphobia, psychosis and clinical depression.

Mental health problems can very easily be fatal if left unchecked and making sure you choose the correct rehabilitation centre for mental health is very important.

Cassiobury Court’s gifted counsellors and therapists help hundreds of clients every year by providing modern therapy techniques that help our clients to regain control of their future.

Mental health rehab centre

Cassiobury Court is able to provide mental health rehab for the majority of mental health conditions. These include, but are not limited to agoraphobia, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), anxiety and depression.

As is common for mental health conditions, these can be treated with cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT). CBT can take place as part of individual or group sessions that are moderated and supervised by one of our qualified therapists.

During these sessions, you are taught to challenge your thoughts and emotions, and react in more rational and healthier ways. Group therapy sessions are useful experiences for the recovering addict as you are able to share your experiences with your peers and positive peer pressure encourages you to all work together as well as sharing experiences and coping mechanisms.

How mental health rehab works

Upon your arrival at our residential rehabilitation centre for mental health, you will have a psychological assessment with one of our consultant psychiatrists. Depending upon our findings from your pre-admissions telephone assessment, we may need to require your medical records from your GP.

When your assessment has been completed, we will put an individual plan into action. No two patients are treated the same at Cassiobury Court, and we treat everyone as the unique individual that they are.

Once you arrive at our rehab centre for mental health, you will have your assessment and then be given a tour of our facility and be invited to meet your keyworkers. Once you have settled into our facility, you’ll be able to join therapy sessions that will help to raise awareness of the causes of your mental health issues. These are generally traumatic past events, and many of these are completely subconscious.

Your schedule during your 28-day stay is a busy one and you will be in therapy sessions for most of the day. However, whilst 28 days might seem like a long time to be away from your normality, it is an excellent opportunity to pause your life and gain a fresh perspective without the distractions and stresses that life can bring – these are not what you need when trying to overcome mental health problems.
