As you will be aware, we are currently facing the coronavirus pandemic. Our rehab centres are still running as normal and we are taking every precaution in the fight against the virus.

Mental Health Support

Cassiobury Court now offers comprehensive treatment services for clients suffering from an assortment of mental health problems.

Our twenty-one bedroom rehabilitation centre is nestled in the Hertfordshire countryside. Patients attend our luxurious nineteenth-century residential rehab centre for around twenty-eight days. During this time clients receive a mixture of therapies that aim to treat to underlying causes of mental health problems. These therapies include ‘talking therapies’ such as cognitive behaviour therapy and psychotherapy, as well as a range of ‘holistic therapies’. Each client receives a thorough assessment upon being admitted into our treatment clinic. This assessment determines each client’s individual and unique treatment needs. An appropriate and fully tailored treatment plan is then put in place. This plan affords clients with effective mental health treatment for long-term success.

Specific Mental Health Conditions We Support

Cassiobury Court are able to support most mental health conditions. These include anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder and agoraphobia. The majority of these conditions can be treated with cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT). CBT takes place in group sessions, as well as individual therapy sessions supervised by a qualified therapist. Clients are then taught to challenge their thoughts and emotions in healthier and rational ways.

A Timeline of Mental Health Support

As soon as you enter our residential rehabilitation centre for treatments, you receive a psychological assessment – this assessment is conducted by a consultant psychiatrist. Depending on facts raised during your pre-admissions assessment, we may request your medical records. Following your assessment, a tailored rehabilitation plan is put in place. Usually once you are settled in, you will join therapy session which will help you raise awareness of the causes of your mental health. These causes are typically traumatic events that occurred in your past, many of which are entirely subconscious. Therapy sessions begin at around 9:30am and conclude around 5:30pm. These sessions are followed by external meetings in the day. Ample time is provided for breaks during the day.
