Drug and Alcohol Rehab Exmouth

Located in Watford, Cassiobury Court is easily reachable from Exmouth using the A303 or M5 route. It is also reachable by train or the national bus service.

What We Treat

Cassiobury Court has vast experience in treating drug and alcohol addiction. Drug addiction treatment available includes treatments for illegal substances like heroin, cocaine, cannabis and new psychoactive substances (NPS) like the synthetic cannabinoids commonly known as ‘spice’. We also treat addiction to prescription medications, which is a growing problem in the UK and beyond.

We can also offer dual diagnosis treatment, which is where addiction and mental health disorders are treated at the same time. The interplay between substance misuse and mental illness is complex and can change over time, but may include a mental illness that has led to substance misuse, substance misuse leading to mental health issues or two initially unrelated disorders that then interact and can exacerbate each other.

Dual diagnosis treatment is important because leaving either side untreated could lead to growing problems and potential relapse in the future.

Our Recovery Process

At Cassiobury Court, we believe in offering a full cycle of care, from assessment to aftercare.

Initial assessments are essential for allowing our experts to design a tailored treatment and recovery plan based on your own individual needs and circumstances. Every person has their own unique recovery journey, but there may be some common elements.

Most people entering rehab will first undergo a period of detoxification, commonly known as detox. This is when they process the drugs or alcohol already in their system – essentially when they get clean or sober up. This process is often accompanied by withdrawal symptoms and strong cravings. It can be a difficult time and will generally require support. It may also need medical assistance, where appropriate.

A programme of therapies and other treatments will address the psychological and behavioural aspects of addiction, including the root causes of substance misuse. Relapse prevention strategies will equip you with the tools you need to maintain your recovery.

Finally, a structured aftercare package will provide vital support and ongoing contact in the important weeks and months after leaving rehab. Recovery is an ongoing process, and many people find it a challenging one as they move forward.

Comfort & Facilities

Recovery is challenging, but it certainly helps if you have comfortable, relaxed and quiet surroundings. Our facilities offer private rooms with en-suite options available and plenty of space for communal activities. There’s a comfortable communal lounge and dining area, a large multi-purpose group activity room and a relaxing TV lounge.

If you want a space for quiet reflections, we also have extensive gardens and a courtyard with seating areas – all set in the grounds of a former stables and coach house in the tranquil residential suburb of Cassiobury Park, Watford.

Our friendly and professional team has a combined decades’ worth of experience in treating addiction and related issues. The team has a wealth of skills in multidisciplinary areas that together can deliver a thorough and holistic recovery programme.

Travelling from Exmouth

You can travel from Exmouth to Watford in a direct route along the A303 or use the M5 and M40 if you prefer to stick to the motorways. We’re located in the northwest of London, so there’s no need to travel all around the capital.

There are also bus routes and trains from nearby Exeter. Trains from Exeter St Davids run to Watford with most services involving one or two changes at London stations.

Aftercare for Devon Clients

Although it occurs after you have completed the main component of rehab, aftercare is an essential part of the treatment programme and recovery process. While relapse prevention sessions will provide you with the knowledge and strategies you need to minimise the risk of relapsing, the time after rehab can still present challenges. Having access to ongoing aftercare services can provide that vital support when you need it.

Remote online options mean you don’t need to travel back to participate in the aftercare programme. We can also put you in touch with local support networks and community resources to help you maintain your recovery on a long-term basis.

Had the most amazing experience at Cassiobury Court, guided me through my issues and left me full of
    knowledge, positivity and hope.
The amazing staff are always smiling, always offering sound advice when needed, and always there if you just need a chat, they treat you as their peers and make you feel instantly relaxed. Couldn’t recommend the place more – go in with an open mind, be honest about everything and be willing to recover!
    (P.s. also great food ?)

As good as it gets for rehab. The staff are hard-working and caring. You get a nice blend of help and social (sober) interaction.

They allow as much freedom as you can handle and mix a healthy blend of learning with the freedom to do as you please and not force any narratives.

I’ve benefitted hugely from my treatment at Cassiobury Court. In fact I’ve had the best month of the last 2 years. The staff here are the best of the best and I will always recommend this amazing place to anyone I know who requires treatment for any known addiction. Rafa the Manager, Martin, Steve, Seth, Gerard, Oli, Jane, Alison, Rebecca, Paul & George are superb as well as Alan, Paula, Helen and Steve with the unrivalled catering. Cassiobury Court is also excellent value for money compared to other far more expensive but inferior Treatment Clinics.
I’m very much looking forward to returning to Chair group meetings in the future.
Many thanks to everyone. You’ll always remain affectionately in my heart.
    Rob.

I needed to be separated from alcohol and initially booked in for a two week alcohol detox. A couple of days in however i knew i was in a good 12 step based rehab. I decided then another 2 weeks was necessary to get a good solid start for my recovery journey. I have experience of a 12 step program, it had worked for me for some years prior. Cassiobury Ct had a good, varied program. I learnt so much more about myself and addiction. The staff were all compassionate and knowledgeable. Many had been where i was. I felt safe in CC. I was fortunate to be surrounded by very supportive peers, we cried together and we laughed together. I walked in feeling such a failure , since leaving i have held my head high. Thank you for the love CC when I struggled to love myself.

I spent 2 weeks at Cassiobury, really think it might have saved my life, Jane walked me in on the first day and told me I wouldn’t want to leave by the end of it, she wasn’t wrong. Every member of staff were amazing and so supportive. Having had two not so good experiences at other rehabs I was very nervous and in a really bad way, at my worst point in drinking ever and thinking there was no way out, but now I feel better than I have in 4 years 🙂 so apprecitive to literally everyone there, so welcoming and understanding. The food is amazing too, and will cater to your needs, felt so looked after and genuinely cared for, will forever be grateful for this experience x
