Drug and Alcohol Rehab Cambridgeshire

Are you a Cambridgeshire resident suffering from drug or alcohol addiction? Are you concerned your drug or alcohol use is destroying your career, family life and health? If you answered YES to these questions : we have a viable solution to your problem.

Cassiobury Court offers alcohol and drug rehab solutions in our state-of-the-art Drug and Alcohol Rehab Cambridgeshire centre.

Admitting you suffer from a drug or alcohol addiction is difficult. That’s why we offer a comprehensive intervention service at our Drug and Alcohol Rehab Cambridgeshire centre.

This service is initially conducted over the telephone. You speak to an admissions counsellor who advises you of your treatment options.

Following this, we generally recommend you attend our residential treatment centre located a short distance from central Cambridgeshire.

What happens when I ask for help?

When you call our advisor you must be willing to complete a short over-the-telephone assessment. This assessment allows us to build up an accurate picture of your addiction.

This information is vital. This is because this information allows us to advise on suitable rehabilitation options. If you are new to addiction treatment, then available treatment may appear confusing.

You may hear terms such as ‘psychotherapy’, aftercare, ‘cognitive behavioural therapy’ and the like. For the layperson, this terminology soon becomes confusing and even off-putting.

When you contact Cassiobury Court we hold your hand through the otherwise stressful process of locating viable treatment options, when it comes to Drug and Alcohol Rehab Cambridgeshire.

We explain your treatment options in a language you can understand. We’ve now treated thousands of ex-drug and alcohol addicts at our Drug and Alcohol Rehab Centre Cambridgeshire area and so our approach to the admissions process is proven and effective.

Solutions we provide at our Drug and Alcohol Rehab Cambridgeshire centre.

We generally advise clients attend our residential rehab clinic. This ensures detoxification and subsequent counselling sessions take place in a safe and controlled environment where the relapse risk is practically non-existent.

Here you receive a structured regime of detoxification and therapy. You receive 24/7 ‘waking care’ by highly qualified medical staff. This includes psychiatrists, psychiatric nurses and highly skilled support workers.

During the day you receive five nutritious meals. You also take part in group and individual therapy sessions. ‘Detoxification’ describes the process when you begin to purge all traces of drugs or alcohol from your body.

The duration and severity of detoxification largely depends on the nature of your addiction.

Alcohol detoxification typically requires between seven and ten days in order to complete, although we now offer a ‘rapid’ five-day detox.

Detoxification from heavy illicit drugs such as heroin and methadone require much longer to complete, typically between twenty-one and twenty-eight days.

Treating your underlying mental issues

Rehabilitation is not restricted to the mere treatment of physical detoxification. We offer an outstanding programme of therapy and counselling. This includes holistic therapies, cognitive behavioural therapy and modern psychotherapy. These therapy sessions take place either in small groups or through ‘one-on-one’ sessions with a counsellor/therapist.

Therapy and counselling both aim to treat the underlying psychological dimensions of drug and alcohol addiction. You can expect to be armed with a number of ‘coping strategies’ that help you remain ‘in recovery’ once you return to ‘normal life’ outside our residential rehabilitation unit.

Aftercare treatment you receive

Following the completion of residential treatment, you receive a further twelve months’ worth of treatment on an ‘outclient’ basis. These so-called ‘aftercare’ sessions take place once a week over the weekend. These sessions minimise the risk of relapse following the completion of residential treatment.
