Admission to Emergency Rehab

At Cassiobury Court, we understand that in critical situations, time is of the essence. That’s why we offer emergency rehab admissions for adults aged 18 and over, allowing people struggling with addiction to access treatment within 24 to 48 hours.

Whether you are facing challenges with alcohol, cocaine, prescription drugs, crystal meth, cannabis, spice or any other addictive substance, swift intervention can save lives and prevent long-term damage.

Our fast-tracked process ensures that you or your loved one gets the necessary care as soon as possible.

Why Emergency Rehab for Drug and Alcohol Addiction Is Important

Addiction is a progressive disease. If not treated early, individuals can experience worsening physical and mental health, potentially leading to life-threatening situations.

For instance, alcohol withdrawal can result in severe complications, including seizures and delirium tremens, while cocaine use may trigger heart attacks or strokes. With rapid rehab admission,  you can avoid further harm and begin the recovery process in a safe, controlled environment.

Protects Mental Health

Drugs like cannabis, spice, and crystal meth can lead to debilitating mental health crises, such as psychosis or severe anxiety.

Emergency rehab not only helps break the cycle of addiction but also offers psychiatric support to stabilise mental health conditions that are often worsened by substance use.

Customised Care and Detox

Upon admission, clients begin their journey with personalised detox treatment, where they undergo medically supervised detoxification to safely manage withdrawal symptoms.

Whether you’re detoxing from alcohol, cocaine, opioids, or other substances, our team of specialists ensures that this process is as safe and comfortable as possible. With round-the-clock care, we monitor vital signs, provide medication when necessary, and offer emotional support.

It’s a pleasure to have been a client at Cassiobury Court. From the moment I arrived I felt like a welcome part of the family, it’s non judgmental and compassionate approach to recovery has differed from any center which I have previously attended. The structure allowed me to develop at my own pace and to work through my recovery journey, which started with me at an all time low. When I entered I was a shell of a person, after a toxic relationship. My substance misuse and eating disorder was out of control and my health, mental and physical, was deteriorating rapidly. The staff, each with there own expertise and experience guided me compassionately and from a genuine place of kindness and warmth. The facilities, all departments from housekeeping, kitchen to admin and support staff, have made a genuine difference to the person I am leaving as. Strong, rebuilt and confident. Ready to step into a life of sobriety and positivity. I have made life long friends and made life long changes thanks to Cassiobury. I can genuinely recommend Cassiobury, to anyone who has found themselves in the depths of there addiction, they will help you find the path out, however unmanageable life may seem. All my love to the team there and to the clients past, present and future Amy x

I spent 2 weeks at Cassiobury, really think it might have saved my life, Jane walked me in on the first day and told me I wouldn't want to leave by the end of it, she wasn't wrong. Every member of staff were amazing and so supportive. Having had two not so good experiences at other rehabs I was very nervous and in a really bad way, at my worst point in drinking ever and thinking there was no way out, but now I feel better than I have in 4 years 🙂 so apprecitive to literally everyone there, so welcoming and understanding. The food is amazing too, and will cater to your needs, felt so looked after and genuinely cared for, will forever be grateful for this experience x

My time at Cassiobury Court has been a life changing experience and one I will be forever grateful for. When I arrived I was mentally broken and morally bankrupt and believe my time here has given me the tools to finally turn my life around. The staff here are incredible and consistently go above and beyond with their care, support and guidance. I cannot thank everyone enough or offer high enough praise for the work that you do. I truly believe that this is the only place I could have begun my journey to recovery. For anyone who is struggling with addiction and wants to change their life for the better, I can say with confidence today that it is possible. Thank you Cassiobury Court. ODAAT

This is a treatment centre of the highest calibre. The staff are all highly professional, knowledgeable, approachable and caring. They are a hope-filled resource for any addiction advice and life advice. The wholistic approach of the treatment itself was highly beneficial. As a brief overview, it encompassed: Group sessions, which was a great opportunity to learn about addiction, effective methods of controlling thoughts, emotions and how to incorporate these new skills into daily life and recovery. Mindfulness sessions that taught us the basics of meditation, breathing techniques and emotional regulation. One-to-one sessions with my key worker gave me the guidance needed to incorporate the learned material into an easy to follow recovery plan. My key worker also identified various areas of additional support which will further my recovery both during my stay at Cassiobury Court and in my general daily life. I found the private sessions with the remarkable therapists and psychologist extremely valuable for realigning my values in life so as to seek solace in my pursuits as well as becoming more emotionally centred. As a result I now see the joys in life and not the negatives. On a final note, I commend their high endeavours to offer clean, safe and comfortable living quarters with delicious hot food. They even took care of my laundry for me so that I was able to focus on my health and recovery without distraction. If you are seeking recovery by means of treatment and NOT punishment then Cassiobury Court is quite literally a LIFE SAVER.

Types of Addictions We Treat in Emergency Rehab

At Cassiobury Court, we have expertise in treating a variety of addictions, including:

  • Alcohol: Chronic alcohol misuse can lead to dangerous withdrawal symptoms, making emergency detox critical. Our team has experience managing symptoms like insomnia and delirium tremens.
  • Cocaine: With the intense psychological cravings and physical effects, quick entry into rehab can help manage common withdrawal symptoms like severe depression and fatigue.
  • Prescription Drugs (Opioids & Benzodiazepines): The misuse of prescription medications like painkillers or anxiety medications requires a carefully controlled detox due to the risk of withdrawal complications.
  • Crystal Meth: Known for its highly addictive nature, crystal meth can cause severe mental health issues, including paranoia and hallucinations. Detox helps reduce the immediate health risks, while therapy addresses the psychological impact.
  • Cannabis/Spice: While often underestimated, these substances can cause significant psychological issues, including anxiety, paranoia, and sleep disturbances. Our rehab provides a structured environment to manage withdrawal and a therapeutic recovery programme.

Transition from Detox to Therapy

Following detox, clients transition into a comprehensive therapy programme. This is where real change happens, with evidence-based treatments such as:

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
  • Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)
  • Schema Therapy
  • Trauma-Informed Care
  • Motivational Enhancement
  • Relapse Prevention
  • Coping Skills Development
  • Meaningful Daily Activities
  • Psychoeducation
  • Recovery Planning
  • Legal and Discharge Planning

In addition to traditional therapeutic approaches, we may also include other therapeutic approaches designed to promote mental, emotional, and physical well-being. Our goal is to help people build coping mechanisms, address underlying trauma or mental health issues, and lay the foundation for a life free from addiction.

Aftercare and Long-Term Support

Addiction recovery doesn’t stop after rehab. We offer a 12-month aftercare program, providing ongoing support to help you stay on track and avoid relapse. From follow-up therapy sessions to support groups, we ensure that you have all the tools necessary for a successful recovery.

Recover With Professionals

At Cassiobury Court, we are a CQC-registered rehab centre with a long history of treating clients for addiction in our residential facility.

Here, you will be looked after by a fully qualified team of addiction specialists and healthcare professionals.

Our team includes:

General Practitioners

Our general practitioners perform a health check on all clients who enter our facility and also prescribe medications for any issues you are dealing with from both a physical and mental perspective.

We look after all our clients here at Cassiobury and also liaise with health authorities if you need further treatments post-rehab.

Consultant Psychiatrist

We treat co-occurring mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, or bipolar disorder that often accompany substance use disorders. Our Consultant Psychiatrist will assess mental health, provide psychotherapy, and prescribe medications like antidepressants or anti-anxiety drugs when necessary.

Licensed Drug and Alcohol Counsellors

Our counsellors provide individual, group, and family counselling to help patients explore the psychological and emotional aspects of addiction. They use therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to address underlying issues and prevent relapse, and work alongside the consultant Psychiatrist.

Social Workers

We help patients manage the social, family, and environmental challenges related to addiction. Our social workers offer family therapy, connect patients with resources like housing or job training, and help plan for aftercare to ensure long-term success post-rehab.

Registered Nurses

Our nurses provide direct medical care, monitor vital signs, and assist in detox management. Nurses are often the first point of contact for patients and play a vital role in managing medications and ensuring patient safety throughout the treatment process.

Peer Support Specialist

Our peer support specialist offers guidance and support from the perspective of lived experience. As someone in long-term recovery, a peer support specialist helps motivate patients and shares practical strategies for maintaining sobriety.

Psychologist

Our psychologist helps patients rediscover hobbies and activities that promote mental and physical well-being. They introduce exercise, creative arts, and mindfulness practices to help patients find new, positive outlets for stress relief.

They can also help assess any special measures that may need to be put in place post-rehabilitation.

Nutritionist

We have access to a nutritionist who has helped design the weekly food plan alongside our catering department. We help patients develop healthy eating habits, which are crucial for recovery. We have designed nutritional plans that restore physical health after prolonged substance use, which often leads to deficiencies.

Rehab Support Staff

Our support staff provides daily supervision and helps manage the logistics of daily routines for patients in residential programmes. Our support staff also assist with monitoring patient safety and offering encouragement and motivation.

These professionals at Cassiobury Court work together to offer comprehensive care that addresses all aspects of addiction, from medical and psychological treatment to holistic and peer support. By creating an integrated and supportive environment, the team at Cassiobury ensures that patients receive the best possible care on their journey to recovery.
