Drug and Alcohol Rehab Buckingham

When you have a drug or alcohol addiction, you may feel like you’re missing out on life in many ways. However, you might not know where to turn to get help, so you just continue down this dangerous path, hoping that eventually your addiction will ease off. The bad news is that addictions rarely resolve themselves and they’re very difficult to overcome without professional help. However, if you are looking for drug and alcohol rehab in Buckingham, then the good news is that Cassiobury Court can help. We offer addiction treatment at our world-class centre in Watford, just over an hour away from Buckingham, and you can begin your recovery faster than you think.

Why choose Cassiobury Court?

Cassiobury Court is a great choice for people with addiction, as our rehabilitation programme is tailored to you, giving you the best possible chance of success. At our rehab centre, you’ll get 24/7 support, so whenever you feel down or tempted to go back to alcohol or drug abuse, you can be sure that someone is here to listen.

When you stay at Cassiobury Court, you can be sure of a comprehensive treatment programme that not only includes intensive individual and group therapy, but also holistic treatments, yoga and mindfulness, fitness sessions and much more. When you are looking for a private rehab, we are confident you won’t find another centre that offers so many great facilities for the people who stay here.

What happens when I go to Cassiobury Court?

On arrival at Cassiobury Court, you’ll get a warm welcome, no matter what time of day you arrive. You will need to go through a full assessment, with lots of questions about your medical history, and we will assume that you are happy for us to share details of your stay with your GP, so please let us know if you’re not. Other than your doctor, nobody else will be told about your stay, so you get complete discretion.

The process of detoxing and rehab begins as soon as you arrive. Your programme will be 28 days long, so it’s important that we start right away to fit in the many different therapies and treatments you’ll enjoy. Detoxing is often the hardest part due to the withdrawal symptoms, so it’s possible to be prescribed a slight sedative that can help ease the side effects. You may feel unwell and uncomfortable for a few days, but rest assured, you’ll be well supported during this time. We take care of everything from making your meals to cleaning, so you can relax and focus on your recovery.

Your treatment programme will be intensive, with lots of therapy and support groups to fill your days. At Cassiobury Court, we also offer workshops and education sessions, all of which aim to give you the tools to stay away from drugs and alcohol for good.

Where will I stay?

Cassiobury Court is part of a period home and is set in converted stables, so it has a cosy, charming feel. The building has been renovated to make it as comfortable as possible, with both single and double rooms for privacy. One advantage of private rehab is that you don’t share rooms, so when you’ve had a hard day, you can escape and aren’t dealing with people’s snoring and bad habits.

Cassiobury Court has plenty of facilities to enjoy in our treatment centre. You can relax and watch TV in the communal areas, help yourself to a cup of tea, or take a stroll around the beautiful gardens. We know you won’t want to feel cooped up, so we offer supervised outings throughout your stay. When you have therapy or other sessions, you can enjoy the nicely decorated rooms that make a pleasant backdrop when you are recovering.

What happens when I finish my programme?

When you are searching for drug and alcohol rehab in Buckingham, it can be hard to imagine a day when you’ve completed rehab, but for many people who stay with us, their programme goes by quickly. While they are often keen to go home and see loved ones again, it does mean having to end their treatment programme, which they may be worried about.

The team understand that your recovery doesn’t end when you leave. That’s why we offer a year of free aftercare to those who complete their programmes, and these regular support groups can help you stay on track. Whether you live in Milton Keynes, High Wycombe or Buckingham, these groups are easy to access at our Watford rehab facility, and it’s important that you complete your aftercare with us.

We can also help those coming out of rehab to find local organisations such as One Recovery Bucks, who help those affected by addiction. They can help you with ongoing treatment options, whether it’s further therapy or joining a 12-step programme. Working with local organisations allows you to build a support network, which can be useful when you’re further along in your recovery and focusing on living a sober life.

If you’re considering attending drug and alcohol rehab in Buckingham, call the team at Cassiobury Court on 0800 001 4070 or text HELP to 83222 to find out more.
