Across the country, concerns around addiction have grown. According to a report from 2025, the alcohol-related mortality rate increased from 23.4 per 100,000 people in 2018 to 32.4 in 2023.

Many in the local area are struggling and don’t know where to turn for help. Cassiobury Court offers confidential and comprehensive addiction treatment for alcohol and drugs, provided by our expert staff members.

Located on the other side of London, Cassiobury Court is an accessible rehab centre for those in Tonbridge and the wider Kent area.

Is Rehab the Right Choice?

No addiction is the same. There are common warning signs that point towards addiction and may show that you need professional help. These include:

  • Experiencing withdrawal symptoms when you stop
  • Developing a tolerance
  • Neglecting everyday responsibilities
  • Trying to stop or cut down and failing
  • Mood swings

The main pathways through recovery are inpatient and outpatient treatment. We offer the former at Cassiobury Court, the chance to stay at the centre and focus completely on recovery, with 24/7 care in a comforting environment. Outpatient treatment offers convenience and flexibility, allowing you to stay at home and complete treatment during the day.

Rehab is a big commitment. Before deciding, you should take into consideration the severity of your addiction, your physical and mental health, your support network and your current situation and budget. If you’re not sure, please reach out to our team today on 0800 001 4070.

Addictions We Treat at Cassiobury Court

Cassiobury Court is experienced in dealing with all forms of addiction.

Drug Addiction

Drug addiction can impact all aspects of your life, including your physical and mental health, livelihood, relationships and can lead you to prison. Drug rehab can help you take back control and learn a healthier way to live. The treatment you’ll receive at Cassiobury Court may depend on the substance you are addicted to.

Drug addictions we treat include:

Alcohol Addiction

Alcohol addiction can increase the risk of various forms of cancer, impact your mental health and damage brain function. Through rehab, you can end your dependence and become more mentally robust.

Effective rehab programmes work because they include a safe, medically supervised detox to get you through the withdrawal phase, which is then followed by therapy sessions while you’re on site to really get to the bottom of why you’re hooked in the first place, and to give you the skills and support to stay that way.

With the right help and ongoing support, you can actually break free from the cycle of dependence and start to rebuild both your physical health and your mental resilience.

Dual Diagnosis Programmes

Mental health and addiction are extremely common, linked problems that people contend with. Between 2010 and 2020, 47% of people in contact with mental health services in England who died by suicide also had alcohol problems.

Having co-occurring mental health and addiction issues is known as dual diagnosis. Cassiobury Court is capable of dealing with more complicated cases, and we can provide care and treatment that tackles them simultaneously without worsening either issue.

The Rehab Process

It’s natural to be nervous about rehab. This usually comes from not knowing what to expect, so it can be helpful to be aware of what rehab with Cassiobury Court looks like.

Admissions Process

The admissions process is simple. During your initial enquiry, we can sort out the right treatment option for you with a pre-admission screening, discuss what inpatient rehab services typically cost, learn more about you and your addiction, and decide the best path forward. On this call, you can secure your place with a deposit and finalise an admission date.

If there is space, from initial call to admission can happen within 24 hours.

Detox

The first step is to end your physical dependence on the substance. Going through alcohol or drug detox means stopping the intake of your chosen substances, allowing your body to rebalance itself and begin to heal.

To ease withdrawal symptoms, medication may be administered, and you’ll be under 24/7 medical care.

Psychological Treatment

After detox, you’ll begin dealing with the psychological side of addiction. Doing this involves working through individual and group therapies.

We also adopt a holistic approach to addiction treatment, providing the opportunity to take part in wellbeing therapies and social activities to help improve your mental wellbeing.

Aftercare

The months after rehab can be overwhelming for those newly sober. You return to old places and situations that can trigger you. Engaging in aftercare and staying motivated are important to long-term recovery.

To help, we offer a year of free aftercare with weekly support meetings and a personalised aftercare plan to help you navigate that important first 12 months.

A really great place to get back on your feet and begin recovery. Staff could not be more helpful, therapy and groups are generally excellent. Rooms are very clean and well appointed, though size and ensuite is a bit of a lottery. Food is really very good, everyones tastes are catered for and in abundance. Snacks water juices, tea’s and coffee’s available 247. I would highly recommend Cassio to anyone looking to get sober change there life.

I have had serious addiction problems for the last 10 years that have ruined my life and the life of my loved ones. I am in my early 30’s and this was my third time in rehab but my first time staying at Cassiobury Court. The difference between Cassiobury and other facilities is incredible and you can’t compare with the level of support and love. The staff are kind, caring and know exactly what you are going through and what you need to do in order to get better. They have multiple different ways and techniques to support you and go above and beyond in every possible way to help you. Not only do they support you while you’re there but they also support you for the first year you leave with weekly catch up sessions. I have left Cassiobury with a huge network of people in recovery. Before I was lost and alone. I can’t thank Cassiobury enough for giving me another chance at life and I’ll be forever truly grateful ❤️❤️❤️

When I came in to Cassiobury I was all over the place my life was in chaos caused by me. I didn’t know what to expect when I arrived, I had been in another rehab before. I didn’t have a good experience there unfortunately. At Cassiobury I made the effort to be around everyone and learn, taking part in everything which is the only way to learn. The thing I really love about Cassiobury are staff who are in recovery themselves which is amazing – they point you in the right direction from their own experiences which has made all the difference to me. It’s been massive for me.
You know when you are talking to staff they have done it themselves. Every single staff have been brilliant, they have different approaches and which has been the best therapy for me as they understand what I’ve been going through.
I felt safe at Cassiobury which gave me a sense of relief and helped me to relax, release my anxieties and fears focusing on what I needed to do – from feeling broken I feel repaired. I cannot fully express what this is done for me.
I can’t fault this place from the top to the cleaners.
I leave Cassiobury with more understanding about addiction than I’ve ever had. I’ve got the tools I need which gives me the courage to remain sober.

My loved one found this place and I’m so grateful that she did! She made a huge effort for me.

You will get everything you need if you want it – don’t waste the opportunity.
For me Cassiobury court will work for you but you need to work for yourself while you’re there – you won’t regret it.

I spent 2 weeks at Cassiobury, really think it might have saved my life, Jane walked me in on the first day and told me I wouldn’t want to leave by the end of it, she wasn’t wrong. Every member of staff were amazing and so supportive. Having had two not so good experiences at other rehabs I was very nervous and in a really bad way, at my worst point in drinking ever and thinking there was no way out, but now I feel better than I have in 4 years 🙂 so apprecitive to literally everyone there, so welcoming and understanding. The food is amazing too, and will cater to your needs, felt so looked after and genuinely cared for, will forever be grateful for this experience x

I’ve very recently attended the Cassiobury Court rehab facility and highly recommend the services provided. Set in a quiet location with enclosed courtyard the bedrooms, tutorial rooms and dining rooms are well maintained, impeccably clean and mostly modern internally
The biggest plus is the wealth of experience and quality of counsellors, tutors and many of the supporting staff who themselves are recovering alcoholics/ addicts.
Conducted in a structured but relaxed atmosphere the breadth and depth of tuition and counselling is such that it stimulates the open, positive participation of Clients whilst always being supportive of both the group and the individual.
This is greatly enhanced with the attendance of local ‘live’ external CA meetings, zoom meetings and visiting ‘shares’ from recovering addicts.
With superb catering and even a washing and cleaning service included
It’s an experience that bettered my expectations and was great fun also.

I can’t rate Cassiobury Court residential clinic more highly!

My 14 day stay (after two previous stays at different clinics) was amazing – constructive, enlightening and enjoyable.

My positive experience flowed through right from the very start of the process with my telephone conversations with the admissions team, and once we’d had an initial chat and an assessment, they arranged for a driver to pick me up at 10 o’clock the next morning to drive me the 140 miles from West Dorset to the clinic.

The staff were incredibly welcoming, caring and non-judgmental. I was able to start my detox only an hour or so after my arrival after having a Zoom call with the Doctor. From then on the medical team were always on hand if and when necessary.

A high ratio of the staff are in recovery themselves which means that they knew personally what I was going through, which was both comforting and motivating.

My room was clean, light and bright and I had everything that I needed.

The food was of a very high standard and the chef was flexible and willing to go that extra mile for any special requests.

The group sessions were varied, interesting and run by highly knowledgeable staff. These were backed up by excellent 1-1 sessions with my allocated key worker and allocated therapist.

I can’t stress enough how much new information I learnt in just 14 days.

I have left Cassiobury Court with a renewed determination to start working the 12 step programme and to do what I’m told – as the people who have been giving me this advice are proof to me that I too can change my life for the better as they have.

A huge thank you to you all!

    Jennie

Cassiobury Court is well respected in the UK because it offers comprehensive treatment plans in a location that is designed for recovery. Our staff are addiction recovery experts, able to help you no matter your situation.

Cassiobury Court is more than just a treatment centre. A typical stay at a residential rehab lasts from 7 to 28 days, and stays can be extended.

Though Cassiobury Court is around 70 miles from Tonbridge, some prefer to get away from their current environment so they can focus on recovery and have a break. By car, the journey takes about 2 hours. It’s an easy run up the A21 onto the M25 and then taking that around to Watford.

By train, the journey is the same, around 2 hours. You can get the train from Tonbridge into London Bridge station, taking the Jubilee line to Baker Street before getting on the Metropolitan Line and staying on that until you reach Watford Station.
