Located close to Romford, our private drug and alcohol rehabilitation clinic can be found in Watford. Once a former stables and coach house, and with plenty of outdoor space, we feel it’s the perfect place for inpatient recovery.
Inside, you’ll find two floors of accommodation with private and communal spaces so that everyone feels at home. There are also separate rooms for peaceful practices like yoga and meditation, and plenty of walks outside.
Close by, you’ll find Cassiobury Park – the biggest public open space in the local area. While our programmes are offered on an inpatient basis, clients are advised to head into the nearby parkland for arranged walks and relaxing activities daily.
Even just reading this page is a start to your recovery, and the next bit begins when you ask for help. While rehabilitation may seem daunting, there’s nothing to worry about and you’ll be supported by a team of experienced medical professionals who have your best interests at heart.
After you’ve requested help or been referred to Cassiobury Court for either alcohol or drug rehab treatment, you’ll need to go through a clinical assessment. This is carried out by one of our doctors and nurses and will help to tailor a programme just for you. You’ll then meet your dedicated recovery worker who will explain exactly what’s going to happen, and be on hand to answer any questions.
Once shown to your room, you’ll spend the next few days going through a drug or alcohol detox. This is a necessary part of the process and will clear your body of any harmful toxins. A team of doctors will be close by, prescribing medication if needed and doing regular checks to ensure your body is detoxing safely and coping with any withdrawal symptoms or side effects. This is one of the biggest benefits of choosing a rehab provider.
After your detox, you can then join in with group and individual therapy sessions, each of which are evidence-based and hugely effective at transforming your mindset. This includes Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, 12 Steps of Recovery, one- to-one sessions and meditation sessions. We also use creative drama and art therapy to reduce stress and foster positive emotions. All clients are encouraged to take part in regular AA (Alcoholics Anonymous) and NA (Narcotics Anonymous) support groups too.
Our rehab clinic isn’t just focused on treatment and therapy as we also have lots of social activities. This includes daily walks, film nights, quizzes, massages and family visits to help you to enjoy your time here.
After completing your course, you’ll receive one full year of free aftercare with regular meetings and check-ins with our doctors and therapists. We feel this is essential for helping you to navigate life again while staying on track.
At Cassiobury Court, we offer a range of treatment options to accommodate different budgets. For more information, please contact our team on 01923 369161.

This question can be quite divisive. However, due to the fact that addiction is often characterised as a behavioural disorder, it can often be more about managing the illness as opposed to necessarily “curing” it. The threat of relapse will always be there, but we will teach you how to make sure that you keep that threat at bay no matter what triggers may appear in your life. We want to make sure that, throughout relapse prevention planning, you are able to focus on your life while staying clean becomes second nature.
Rehab treatment plans come in all shapes and sizes, therefore different treatment plans can cost different amounts. Cassiobury Court’s inpatient treatment plan, the plan which we strongly recommend for the highest chances of long-term recovery from addiction, may be more expensive than most outpatient programmes, but the extra cost will be worth it. We are also able to accommodate all manner of budgets, so the best way to find out our price plans will be to contact our helpline.
Support groups have played a large part in most, if not all, professional addiction treatment programmes for years now. This is because there can be no doubting how integral they are to the process of recovery. Support groups help you to create your own network of like-minded individuals, united with the common goal of staying sober. Not only can this network help you when you’re feeling vulnerable, but hearing successful sobriety stories from others can be a greta source of inspiration when you need it most.
We have local CQC-approved rehab treatment centres around the United Kingdom where you will find our friendly team of doctors, nurses, and support staff. Our team aim to provide the best care possible for every client we treat. We focus on safety and support to help people achieve long-term recovery in a warm, caring and tranquil environment.
