Drug and Alcohol Rehab Merton

You may even worry about what others may say due to the stigmas associated with addiction.

However, although your internal thoughts may tell you otherwise, attending a drug and alcohol rehab in Merton for addiction treatment is the right thing to do.

An estimated 1,900 adults use illegal or unprescribed drugs in Merton, highlighting the severity of the problem. Between 2018 and 2021 there have been 37 deaths among adults in Merton as a result of alcohol and drug abuse. This is why it is key to seek treatment as soon as possible.

Sadly, if you defer treatment, your addiction will escalate and will gradually become somewhat intolerable.  You will also find that you have very little control over your thoughts, actions and behaviour.  In turn, the quality of your life will diminish, and your relationships with others may break down.

If you have attempted to locate a drug and alcohol rehab in Merton but found yourself unable to find a rehab that you believe can cater to your needs, we welcome you to attend our residential rehab.

Located just an hour away from Merton, our drug rehab is based in Watford.

As it is possible that you are yet to consider attending a rehab away from your hometown, here at Cassiobury Court, we have shared a wealth of information about our services, treatments and facilities for you to review below.

Should you have any questions, please contact us directly.  In doing so, our admissions team can offer you a wealth of guidance and help you progress through our pre-admissions assessment.

We Treat A Wide Range Of Addictions

As you search for a drug and alcohol rehab in Merton, you may have come to find that the rehabs available in your area are only able to provide treatment for common addictions, such as alcohol and cannabis addictions.

This may leave you worried that your addiction cannot be treated.  In turn, you may well have admitted defeat.

However, just because a drug and alcohol rehab in Merton can only provide treatment for a limited number of addictions, we would ask you not to give up.  Instead, we recommended reviewing the addictions that we can provide treatment for here at Cassiobury Court.

  • Cocaine addictions
  • Heroin addictions
  • Cannabis addictions
  • Alcohol addictions
  • Prescription drug addictions
  • Amphetamine addictions
  • Crystal meth addictions
  • Depressants addictions
  • Diazepam addictions
  • Ketamine addictions
  • Methadone addictions
  • Sleeping pill addictions
  • Temazepam addictions
  • Stimulants addictions

If the substance you have become addicted to is not listed above, please call us to ascertain whether treatment is available.

We Provide Dual Diagnosis Treatment

When it comes to drug and alcohol addictions, it is extremely common for them to coexist with behavioural addictions, such as a food addiction or gambling addiction, or a mental health disorder, such as depression or anxiety.

Understanding this, at Cassiobury Court, in addition to providing treatment for drug and alcohol addictions, we also offer dual diagnosis treatment to our clients, should it be required.

Dual diagnosis treatment focuses on treating a substance addiction and behavioural addiction, or substance addiction and mental health disorder at the same time.

If you are unsure whether dual diagnosis treatment is required, we will determine this as you enter our rehab.

Residential Treatment At Cassiobury Court

As touched on above, when treatment is administered at our rehab, it is done so on a residential basis.  Essentially, this means that as you undergo treatment at our rehab, you will be required to remain in our centre.

Unfortunately, as you progress through treatment, you will be unable to leave our rehab.

Although this may leave you feeling somewhat deflated, it is important to understand that attending our residential rehab will give you the best chance of overcoming your substance addiction.

Sadly, attending an outpatient rehab such as a drug and alcohol rehab in Merton will put you at greater risk of relapsing within the first year of your recovery.  This is because you will continue to be surrounded by the factors that could have ultimately caused your addiction to arise.

Should you find yourself prepared to attend our residential drug and alcohol rehab, you will be provided with a personalised treatment programme.  This programme will be created by our team and will cater to your addiction and recovery needs and goals.

While we cannot ascertain the treatment that will be incorporated into your programme before discussing your addiction with you, you will likely encounter a medically induced drug or alcohol detoxification, one-to-one therapy, group therapy, psychological therapy and well-being therapy.

Combined, these treatments will enable your body and brain to overcome the ramifications of your substance abuse and begin to recuperate.

Our treatments will also equip you with coping strategies and resources that will essentially mitigate your risk of relapsing in the weeks, months and years following your time in recovery.

12-Months Of Free Aftercare Support Will Support You In Your Recovery

Here at Cassiobury Court, we want to help you succeed and maintain a long-term recovery.  Considering this, upon completing your personalised treatment programme with us, you will find that you have access to 12-months of free aftercare support.

Our aftercare support will ensure that you have a robust relapse prevention plan in place.  Our aftercare support will also guarantee that you have someone to turn to should you find yourself at risk of relapsing.

In addition, you will be encouraged to attend weekly group therapy sessions.  These sessions will enable you to share your recovery with others and seek support and guidance from our recovery support workers.
