About our Drug and Alcohol Rehab Bedfordshire clinic

The majority of our treatment options we offer are residential in nature. This means clients are entirely removed from their ‘using’ environment whilst treatment is dispensed. Our Drug and Alcohol rehab Bedfordshire centre is located in Watford, Herefordshire.

If you require transportation to and from your Bedfordshire home then our admissions counsellors are on hand to make these arrangements on your behalf. We also offer a shuttle service for clients located in the South East of England. This ensures our fantastic rehabilitation services are available to all.

The details of Drug and Alcohol Rehab Bedfordshire at Cassiobury Court

When your treatment begins, you will take part in an initial medical assessment. This assessment is conducted by a psychiatrist. Here we determine the precise nature of your addiction or mental health problem that must be treated.

This information you feed us during this time is used to develop a tailored rehabilitation plan. Following the assessment, your rehab programme will begin. During rehab, you will attend a variety of therapy sessions. These sessions aim to tackle the underlying causes of substance misuse or mental health disorders.

Depending upon the nature of your addiction, you must also undertake a detoxification programme at the very beginning of your rehabilitation programme.

Conditions we treat

Below we list all addictions we currently treat at Cassiobury Court:

  • Alcoholism
  • Drug addiction e.g. heroin, cocaine, methadone and cannabis addiction
  • Behavioural addictions e.g. sex, the internet, gambling and gaming addiction

Below we list mental health problems we treat:

  • Eating disorders
  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Obsessive-compulsive disorder
  • Post-traumatic stress disorder
  • Agoraphobia

Treatment ethos

Following the initial assessment, you must take part in therapy and counselling sessions. These sessions aim to treat thoughts and emotions that fuel addictive tendencies and mental health problems.

Treatments we offer include psychotherapy, cognitive behavioural therapy and holistic therapies. Therapy arms you with coping mechanisms that help you overcome your addiction and mental health problems. Therapy sessions are highly structured and take place throughout the day.

Therapy sessions even extend beyond your rehabilitation programme. This is because therapy is offered on an outclient basis each week for a further fifty-two weeks following the completion of your residential rehabilitation programme. Aftercare sessions are free of charge and available to every single client we treat, whether you attend our rehab centre for seven days or six weeks. Aftercare sessions help you to remain in recovery once you get there!
