Why Drug and Alcohol Rehab Hertfordshire is the right choice for you

Drug Rehabilitation may seem like a rather daunting prospect for the uninitiated. Rehabilitation may conjure images of a nineteen seventies’ era institution run by overzealous medical professionals with no appetite for fun.

However, when you attend Cassiobury Court’s state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility this misconception could not be further from the truth.

Many of our staff have successfully recovered from addiction themselves. We also employ forward-thinking and friendly medical professionals and therapist who ensure your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. When you enter our rehabilitation clinic you receive a full mental and physical examination.

This examination is conducted by our consultant psychiatrist. Here you are prescribed medication designed to reduce symptoms that occur during drug or alcohol detoxification. If you suffer from mental health problems, you may receive medication to aid your sleeping or to arrest your anxiety.

The prescription medication enables you to focus your mind on your treatment during the first few vital days of treatment whilst anxiety and nerves are likely to be at its peak.

What happens during my time at our Drug and Alcohol Rehab Hertfordshire centre?

Both during and following detoxification you receive highly structured therapy sessions. These sessions include holistic therapies such as Reiki, reflexology, massage, meditation and yoga. Holistic therapies effectively arm you with a range of coping mechanisms to deal with stress and anxiety in ways that do not involve substance misuse.

Further to holistic therapies, we also offer you a range of proven therapy techniques, namely psychotherapy and cognitive behavioural therapy. These therapy techniques allow you to identify and resolve traumatic events that chain you to drug or alcohol use at present.

In order to resolve your mental problems, our therapist will conduct group and individual therapy sessions that aim to alter your thoughts and emotions so you do not feel the need to resort to drug and/or alcohol use.
