Drug and Alcohol Rehab Liverpool

Liverpool has one of the highest drug offence rates in the country, according to the Office for National Statistics.

This outlines the relevance of drugs in the community and how access in big cities like Liverpool will have its share of drug and alcohol abuse problems.

Getting Help in Liverpool

If you need to find treatment for your drug or alcohol addiction, our helpline can discuss the options available to you in the area and further away in different towns. Sometimes a clean break is needed, and you need to remove yourself from the environment that can trigger drug or alcohol abuse.

Local Support

A good place to start when seeking to treat addiction is to contact your GP. You can simply call your GP in Liverpool to book an appointment and health check.

Your GP can discuss what drug substitutes are available and provide guidance and possible referrals to outpatient treatment programs in the area, such as Liverpool Community Alcohol Services, which is funded by the NHS.

These outpatient support groups can provide the following services:

  • Assessments and Advice
  • Psychosocial interventions
  • Substitute Prescribing
  • Access to Community Detoxification Programmes

These programs can benefit people, especially if they have a mild addiction. If you have a severe addiction or have tried these outpatient services in the past but found yourself returning to drugs or alcohol, the other option is to stay in a private residential rehab such as Cassiobury Court.

Residential Treatment

Staying in a residential rehab centre takes you out of your environment for an extended stay in rehab. You will be totally cut off from drugs and alcohol and complete a medically assisted detoxification and a tailored therapy programme to help you recover from addiction.

This means you not only detox from drugs or alcohol but also find the root causes of your addiction and find ways to cope without these substances. This can help you stay sober for the rest of your life.

We have dedicated CQC-registered rehab clinics throughout the United Kingdom and can find you a place immediately based on your circumstances.

What Do You Treat in Rehab?

We treat all kinds of addictions at our rehab centre. We focus on Detoxification, Therapy and then Recovery. If you are suffering from some of the following our expert team has the experience and facilities to guide you through your recovery process.

  • Alcohol Addiction
  • Cocaine/Crack Addiction
  • Heroin/Smack Addiction
  • Meth Addiction
  • MDMA
  • Prescription Drugs

Alcohol Addiction Rehab

Here at Cassiobury Court, we have great experience in dealing with alcohol addictions. All our patients are carefully assessed, and as with all our rehab programmes, a tailored schedule will be developed to help you through detoxification and further rehabilitation.

Alcohol withdrawal can have some acute side effects, and it can be pretty uncomfortable with a range of side effects. Our onsite practitioners are at hand to monitor you through the detox and provide medications proven to help you through this period.

Detoxing in a safe environment is recommended if you have been suffering from alcohol abuse over a period of years, as you can expect stronger withdrawal symptoms.

Cocaine Rehab

Rehabilitation from cocaine addiction can differ slightly from alcohol addiction as the withdrawal symptoms are more psychological than physical.

We have a fully trained team of acute mental health specialists, psychologists and councillors who will work with you daily while recovering from cocaine addiction.

This level of service and intensive care can only be provided in a 24/7 setting and provides you with the greatest chances og making a long-term recovery.

Cannabis Rehab

Cannabis is a growing problem among young people, and access to cannabis is traditionally very easy. What we are seeing is problems with synthetic cannabinoids also known as “Spice”.

This can lead to dramatic changes in lifestyle and really affect your future if allowed to develop, alongside potential mental health issues.

Here at Cassiobury, we can see you through a detoxification and rehabilitation programme and limit the effect it has had on both you and your family.

What Happens in Rehab?

Residential treatment varies from person to person and is tailored to suit your specific needs. When you arrive at Cassiobury Court, we carry out a full assessment of your needs, asking questions about your drugs or alcohol consumption, previous treatments and mental health. This allows us to get a clearer picture of your addiction so we can offer the best possible treatment options to you.

Many people who look for alcohol and drug rehab in Liverpool are interested mainly in a detox programme, and we can carry this out at Cassiobury Court, with prescription medication to help with your withdrawal symptoms.

Detox

We consider detox to simply be the first stage in drug and alcohol rehab, which is why we don’t offer programmes that are detox only.

It’s likely you’ll do a 28-day programme with us, so once your detox is finished, you’ll stay on at our rehabilitation clinic. During this time, you’ll go through intensive therapy, which includes individual sessions and group therapy. This allows you to think about why you developed an addiction and learn coping skills for when you return to your life.

Why Choose Cassiobury Court?

You may have come across Cassiobury Court while looking for rehabs in the Liverpool area and may wonder if it’s worth travelling a little further away for treatment.

In our experience, it’s often better to complete your programme away from home rather than choosing a rehab in Liverpool, as it means it’s harder for you to relapse and goes back to drug or alcohol consumption.

Change of Environment

Without your usual contacts and friends who might be bad influences, you can focus on your recovery. This change of environment can play a key part in your recovery process as you can leave your stresses behind and focus on yourself.

Cassiobury Court is set on the outskirts of London in Watford and is a pretty period house in a leafy suburb. It’s just over three and a half hours away by car, and we often arrange transport for people from the North West so that they don’t have to drive or take the train while under the influence.

We also have residential rehab centres based in the North West of England that our admissions team can book you in for urgent treatment if you need to access rehab straight away with little travel time involved.

There are many misconceptions about residential rehabilitation, with some people arriving thinking it’ll be like a hospital or even a prison. But they’re soon won over by the friendly welcome and the homely atmosphere.

Our addiction treatment is world-class, delivered by people who are experts in their field, and you also have 24/7 support for when you need it most. From individual therapy to holistic treatments, you’ll have access to some of the best, scientifically proven methods to help you overcome your addiction.

Can a Rehab Clinic Help Me?

We are contacted by people with all sorts of addictions, with various levels of severity, and in many cases, we can help them out. The team at Cassiobury Court certainly try their best, and as long as you’re willing to follow our programme and put in the work, we never give up.

There are many reasons why you might be searching for drug and alcohol rehab in Liverpool right now. You may be motivated to get sober because of a particular incident, or maybe because your addiction is generally impacting your health, career or finances. It doesn’t matter why you want to get sober, only that you’re willing to change.

When looking for a Liverpool rehab centre, you may be worried about the cost of this kind of private treatment. While Cassiobury Court isn’t the cheapest option, we think it’s one of the best in terms of value for money, with everything included in the package price. When you weigh up the cost of continuing your addiction versus going to rehab, you’ll no doubt find that being sober is a better choice.

Fast Admission

One advantage of Cassiobury Court over NHS or other rehab providers is that we offer very fast admission. If someone with an addiction admits that they need help, then the last thing that they need is a long wait, which is why we aim to admit them within 48 hours.

What Happens after Drug and Alcohol Rehab in Liverpool?

Rehab is a wonderful, supportive environment, and many people worry about what will happen once they leave and return to their everyday lives. That’s why we work so hard to offer excellent aftercare, with many options in Liverpool to keep you on track.

If you complete a 28-day programme with us, you’ll be entitled to a year of free aftercare. This weekly support group takes place at Cassiobury Court or one of our sister clinics, allowing you to choose the best option for you.

Many people also find that NA or AA meetings help them stay on track. Both Narcotics Anonymous and Alcoholics Anonymous are long-running organisations that offer a 12-step programme, something that people with addictions may find useful.

They can also help you keep track of your sobriety in the long term, helping you build a support group that can get you through the tough times.

If you are suffering from addiction and considering residential treatment, then give Cassiobury Court contact us on 0800 001 4070 or text HELP to 83222, and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.

I have spent some time at Cassiobury Court over the last 6 months and cannot speak more highly of the experience. I admitted myself for alcohol addiction and was very scared when I arrived and did not have any idea what to expect. The staff could not have been kinder to me. I wanted to leave on day 2 because I was very anxious and out of my comfort zone, but fortunately staff members calmed me down and I ended up staying which I am very glad about. The schedule is very good with group sessions, some one on one sessions and therapy sessions.
The food is excellent and the chefs are very accommodating if you wish to have something different. There is a daily trip to the local shop to get any bits you may need.
All the staff are amazing, the recovery workers, the management, the chefs and kitchen staff and all that work at Cassiobury are all so caring and it really shows.
You have time to get to know the rest of the group and I ended up building close bonds and have kept in contact with many that I met in Cassiobury (and I bump into people I met at meetings outside as well as on the aftercare calls).
All in all, if your are considering a treatment centre then I would highly recommend Cassiobury Court, I am very grateful for my time there.

I came into Cassiobury Court after years of trying to stop on my own, after years of abusing myself physically and mentally i finally came in with the willingness to ask for help and that is what i recieved.
Although nervous when I first came in i was greeted with an incredibly friendly and supportive team, I was made to feel at ease and given privacy but i also knew help was ready and available when i needed it

The workshops, counselling and advice all felt they were tailored to me rather then just being another client and i was encouraged to start seeing the postives of life rather then the negatives, I enjoyed every workshop and the social aspect that came with meeting a group of like minded people and felt that i was being heard and understood.
Since leaving i have re started my life and had support from everyone along the way

I would highly recommend them. To anyone who feels they may be struggling.

Cassiobury Court is a fantastic, peaceful place to recover. I am leaving today and can’t be more grateful to the staff and fellow residents who have made my stay such a wonderful experience.

All the staff are happily prepared to go the extra mile to make your stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible.

There are a great range of workshops and activities to help you explore how your mind, body and spirit can assist with your recovery.

The kitchen team provide nutritionally balanced food options and if you don’t fancy what is on the menu they are happy to make something to your taste.

The rooms, facilities and grounds are immaculately maintained.

I am positive about the future.

I can’t rate Cassiobury Court residential clinic more highly!

My 14 day stay (after two previous stays at different clinics) was amazing – constructive, enlightening and enjoyable.

My positive experience flowed through right from the very start of the process with my telephone conversations with the admissions team, and once we’d had an initial chat and an assessment, they arranged for a driver to pick me up at 10 o’clock the next morning to drive me the 140 miles from West Dorset to the clinic.

The staff were incredibly welcoming, caring and non-judgmental. I was able to start my detox only an hour or so after my arrival after having a Zoom call with the Doctor. From then on the medical team were always on hand if and when necessary.

A high ratio of the staff are in recovery themselves which means that they knew personally what I was going through, which was both comforting and motivating.

My room was clean, light and bright and I had everything that I needed.

The food was of a very high standard and the chef was flexible and willing to go that extra mile for any special requests.

The group sessions were varied, interesting and run by highly knowledgeable staff. These were backed up by excellent 1-1 sessions with my allocated key worker and allocated therapist.

I can’t stress enough how much new information I learnt in just 14 days.

I have left Cassiobury Court with a renewed determination to start working the 12 step programme and to do what I’m told – as the people who have been giving me this advice are proof to me that I too can change my life for the better as they have.

A huge thank you to you all!

I’ve very recently attended the Cassiobury Court rehab facility and highly recommend the services provided. Set in a quiet location with enclosed courtyard the bedrooms, tutorial rooms and dining rooms are well maintained, impeccably clean and mostly modern internally
The biggest plus is the wealth of experience and quality of counsellors, tutors and many of the supporting staff who themselves are recovering alcoholics/ addicts.
Conducted in a structured but relaxed atmosphere the breadth and depth of tuition and counselling is such that it stimulates the open, positive participation of Clients whilst always being supportive of both the group and the individual.
This is greatly enhanced with the attendance of local ‘live’ external CA meetings, zoom meetings and visiting ‘shares’ from recovering addicts.
With superb catering and even a washing and cleaning service included
It’s an experience that bettered my expectations and was great fun also.

I benefitted greatly at cassiobury court. I came in willing to work hard and overcome my mental blockages which kept me relapsing. The one to one’s with the therapist and going through the steps really humbled me. I know now how my head works and will never take my sobriety for granted ever again. I have a structure back in my life I.e food, sleep, exercise and have the tools I need to push on and lead a good and spiritual life. Thank you to all the Cassiobury team. From the housekeeping staff to management has been excellent.

I would strongly recommend to anyone to stay for 28 days like I did as its turned my life around. From a massively heavy drinker and cocaine user to give me the chance for a good life here on end.
