Similar to CBT is another form of psychological therapy called dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT) which helps to identify your negative thought patterns by making use of mindfulness meditation. This helps to enhance your capabilities and improves your motivation to change by generalising new behaviours and structuring your environment.

These withdrawal symptoms have the potential to be very dangerous, highlighting the importance of only ever undergoing a detox with the supervision of medical professionals, otherwise, you’ll be putting yourself at extreme risk of developing life-long health problems.

Within your aftercare plan, there will be a big focus on relapse prevention to help you understand relapse and the accompanying risks. We will also provide you with dedicated helplines so that you can contact us whenever you need to, in addition to ongoing therapy sessions such as cognitive behavioural therapy or counselling should you need it.
