Drug and Alcohol Rehab Wembley

Alcohol and drug addictions can cause untold damage not only to the user, but also their friends, family and the community around them. That’s why early intervention is important, tackling the issue as soon as possible before it can cause further problems. Luckily, if you’re looking for drug and alcohol rehab in Wembley, you are just a short drive from Cassiobury Court, a world-class rehab centre set in a leafy part of Watford. We specialise in dealing with a wide range of addictions, offering high quality care and scientifically proven treatments that can help our patients change their lives.

Do I need drug and alcohol rehab in Wembley?

While residential drug rehab might seem like an extreme step, many studies have shown that it’s one of the more effective ways to deal with drug or alcohol addiction. It means that you can be free of the negative influences in your life, whether it’s friends who drink to excess or a group of people who use drugs. If you are an outpatient, then it can be difficult to cut contact with these people, and the temptation is always there when things get tough.

There are lots of reasons why people contact us about residential treatment programmes. It can be because their drug or alcohol use is affecting their relationships or career, or even because it has caused them legal troubles. It could even be damaging your physical or mental health. However, there’s no particular requirements to stay at Cassiobury Court, simply a desire to overcome an addiction and a willingness to follow our treatment plan.

Why choose private rehab?

Because the NHS is stretched and there can be a long wait for treatment, for many people private rehab is really the only choice. About two-thirds of patients in rehab in London will be privately funded, and although you may think it’s only for the wealthy or celebrities, people from all walks of life stay at Cassiobury Court when they’re worried about substance misuse. We have packages to suit different budgets and will be happy to discuss your needs It’s also worth considering the current cost of your addiction and how much it’ll cost you in the long term if you don’t seek help versus the cost of rehab.

What happens when I go to rehab?

When you’re researching drug and alcohol rehab in Wembley, it’s normal to feel a bit anxious about what’ll happen once you arrive. Our team are always happy to talk you through the process and what’s expected, so you don’t turn up feeling lost. When you first call us, we’ll carry out an initial assessment over the phone, which will help you decide whether Cassiobury Court is for you. Once you check in, there’s a full physical and mental assessment, which helps us get an idea of your current situation and what you need from us.

Step one in rehab is usually going through drug and alcohol detox, and if you choose to stay in Cassiobury Court then we offer a number of options to make things easier. For example, we can provide prescription medication that’s designed to ease the worst of the withdrawal symptoms, which can really help you get through this initial stage.

From your first day in Cassiobury Court, you’ll have an intensive programme of therapy, both as an individual and in a group. This allows you to think about why you developed an addiction in the first place, and how you can overcome your dependence on drugs or alcohol. The aim is to give you all the tools you need to avoid a relapse in future, and to rebuild your life outside of rehab.

What’s life like inside rehab?

When you stay at Cassiobury Court, we focus on your health and wellbeing both inside and out. While you have intensive therapy, your stay here isn’t just about traditional talking therapies. Our centre is well-equipped with comfortable communal areas, a TV lounge, relaxation room and large grounds, so there’s plenty of opportunities to relax and unwind. We also offer some great activities, from country walks to fitness sessions, so you can begin to heal your body.

Cassiobury Court offers single occupancy rooms, so you can have alone time when needed, and everything is taken care of during your stay from nutritious food to laundry, so you can focus on your recovery. We are overseen by the Care Quality Commission, who carry out regular inspections to ensure we’re offering the best possible service.

What happens when I leave rehab?

The thought of leaving rehab often makes people anxious, which is why Cassiobury Court offer a year of free aftercare for those who’ve completed a programme. This comes in the form of support groups where you can meet others who’ve been through rehab. We may also put you in touch with community based organisations, from Alcoholics Anonymous to Narcotics Anonymous, depending on your addiction and specific needs. The first year of recovery can be the hardest, so we highly recommend that you complete aftercare.

It’s also important that you have family support during this time, and some people find it useful to undergo family therapy either during or after rehab. Young people can often be affected by their relative’s drug use or excessive drinking, and going through therapy can help them understand your addiction, as well as giving them space to talk about their feelings.

If after leaving rehab there are signs you’re going to relapse, then we may recommend further therapy or other treatments to help you stay on track.

If you’re looking for drug and alcohol rehab in Wembley and would like further information on Cassiobury Court, all you need to do is call the team on 01923 369 161 or text HELP to 83222 and we’ll get right back to you.
