Inpatient Rehab Vs Outpatient Rehab

Inpatient drug rehab involves receiving treatment while you are in a rehabilitation centre, such as the one that Cassiobury Court London has available. The benefit of this form of treatment is that you will not have access to drugs and/or alcohol throughout the course of your treatment so the chances of relapsing are very low.

By staying in the facility where you are receiving treatment you will also benefit from a more intensive form of treatment as well as round-the-clock monitoring.

An outpatient drug and alcohol rehab is a form of treatment where you will be living at home throughout the course of your treatment and periodically attending sessions at a treatment centre. However, the chances of relapsing can be quite high with this form of treatment and so we strongly recommend that you opt for an inpatient treatment programme.

Detoxification At Cassiobury Court’s Detox Clinic

One of the primary elements of recovery that people can be concerned about is the process of withdrawal — be it alcohol withdrawal and/or narcotics withdrawal. Withdrawal is never something that should be taken lightly due to the severe side-effects that it can cause people to present with.

However, when you arrive at our facility you will be given a course of medically-assisted detox at our detox clinic. As the name suggests, this treatment will involve using carefully prescribed medication to manage and lessen the impact of the dangerous side effects of withdrawal.

Our Addiction Treatments And Therapy Options

One of the mainstays of addiction treatment plans is group therapy. This is because group therapy is a tried-and-tested effective way of combating addiction and remaining sober. The primary reason why group therapy is so important is that it allows you to forge a support network that you can rely upon if you ever need assistance staying sober from like-minded recovering addicts.

Some of our individually-administered therapies and treatments will likely include CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy) and DBT (dialectical behavioural therapy). These treatments, in conjunction with standard one-to-one talking therapy and stress management classes, will help you to root out the inception of your addiction.

Once you understand the contributing factors of your addiction better then you will be able to dismantle the neural patterns which lead you to addictive behaviours.

By combining these therapies with therapies such as art therapy, music therapy, exercise therapy, and movement therapy we will aim to help you find alternative outlets for your previously repressed stress which was contributing to your desire to drink and/or consume narcotics.

All of this will also come to inform a large part of your relapse prevention plan which, as the name suggests, will mean that you are less likely to fall back into unhealthy habits once you leave our facility.

Your relapse prevention plan in tandem with our complimentary one-year aftercare programme will leave you in the best stead to enjoy the rest of your life without fearing your addiction rearing its head again.

Frequently Asked Questions

Rehab treatment plans come in all shapes and sizes, therefore different treatment plans can cost different amounts. Cassiobury Court’s inpatient treatment plan, the plan which we strongly recommend for the highest chances of long-term recovery from addiction, may be more expensive than most outpatient programmes, but the extra cost will be worth it. We are also able to accommodate all manner of budgets, so the best way to find out our price plans will be to contact our helpline.

Once you have completed your course of treatment at Cassiobury Court’s drug and alcohol treatment centre it will be time for you to return home. Naturally, there can be a bit of anxiety about this shift back to normality, which is why we provide our clients with access to our complimentary aftercare programme. This aftercare programme will last for a year and will provide you with access to resources designed to keep you on the straight and narrow when you feel a little overwhelmed. However, the key thing that you need to do when you finish rehab starts living your life, a life that is now free from addiction.

When you finally reach out to us and sort your place at our treatment centre the helpline staff will be able to provide you with a thorough list of what you need to bring. However, some of the basics include clothing for both outdoor and indoor activities, a notepad and pen to record your progress, and pictures of your loved ones/sentimental items to keep you committed to recovery. In terms of physical preparation, you do not need to do much as our detoxification clinic will help you through this. The most important preparation is perhaps the act of getting yourself ready to make serious changes to your life — without this readiness to commit to a new, sober life, rehab may not be effective for you.
